Functimer (“the app”) is built by All Things Yellow BV, Belgium. We designed it to know as little about you as possible.

What we don’t do

• No accounts. No sign-up.
• No advertising, no trackers, no analytics SDKs.
• We never sell data. We have no data to sell.

Workout parsing

When you use photo, voice, or text input, the photo or workout text is sent over an encrypted connection to our parsing service, which uses a third-party AI provider (OpenRouter, Inc.) to convert it into a timer program. The content is processed to answer that single request and is not used to train models, not linked to your identity, and not stored by us. Voice is transcribed on your device; only the resulting text is sent. Do not photograph anything you wouldn’t want processed by a cloud service.

What stays on your device

• Your workouts, presets, and settings (device storage)
• Your free-parse usage counter (device Keychain)

Subscriptions

Purchases run entirely through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). We receive no name, email, or payment details. Apple’s privacy policy governs the transaction. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Permissions

• Camera — only to photograph a workout when you choose photo input.
• Microphone + Speech Recognition — only while you dictate a workout.
• Photo Library — only when you pick an existing photo.

Each is requested the first time you use that feature and can be revoked in iOS Settings at any time.

This website

functimer.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first statistics service. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint or track you across sites — we only see aggregate numbers such as page views and country. That’s why you don’t see a cookie banner here.
